What Molly wants clients to know…

In our latest Instagram reel, Molly @mamassage_brooklyn wanted to share with first time clients what to expect in a massage session with them…

Molly says: “I’m hoping to build a partnership with my clients on the table. My goal is to find a balance between my intuition and experience as an LMT with your own felt sense of your body.

Not every approach fits every nervous system! I like to treat a bodywork session like a tarot reading- take what resonates with you and leave the rest. 

I treat feedback as an opportunity to create a positive feedback loop. As you notice a sensation of need, preference, dislike or desire in your body and are able to communicate that to me (imperfect language welcome!), I'm able to receive and honor that feedback and make a change to our session. I believe that the act of noticing, communicating, and receiving a change can be a deeply healing experience in and of itself on the table.”
