Black Maternal Health Week April 11-17th

#BlackMaternalHealthWeek post by Shantia Blackwell, MPH, LMT

Perinatal care should honor your body, your experience, and your story. True care goes beyond treatment - it is also about being listened to, believed, and held in spaces that feel grounded and affirming.

@MaMassage_Brooklyn our practitioners aim to approach #massage and bodywork through a lens of nervous system support, restoration, and intentional care.

Whether someone is preparing for birth, recovering #postpartum, or simply needing the space to breathe, our goal is to create an environment where the body and mind can feel supported.

This week, and always, we stand in support of Black mothers and birthing people, not just in awareness, but in the way we show up, hold space, and provide care.

Follow @blackmamasmatter for more information and ways to provide education and support. We've made our annual donation to their cause, and hope you will too!
